The Ellipsis multifunctional building project was created by the DAM architekti studio, which has made a significant contribution to many modern skylines of the Prague´s districts. The studio boasts more than thirty years of experience gained, responsibility for the context and environment, but also a hunger for innovative progressive concepts. The world of architecture is changing; nevertheless, quality and careful work remain stable values.
The DAM architekti studio was founded by Richard Doležal and Petr Malinský in 1989. Their first joint work came into being in the middle of 1990. At present, the studio is run by five partners: architects Richard Doležal, Petr Burian, Jiří Havrda, Jiří Hejda and Jan Holna. The studio designs constructions throughout the Czech Republic and abroad, although the focus of its activities stays mainly on Prague projects.
A new designer residential building in the gap between the existing Prague development in Lodecká Street. DAM architects prepared an unusual design involving the construction of a gym for a neighbouring primary school.
The new construction of the office complex in Evropská Street in Prague´s Dejvice lives up to its name. The administrative set divided into blocks follows the historical urban concept of Dejvice, but it adds both an inner park and modern technology.
The inhabitants of the terraced apartment building on the southern slope of the Petřín Hill have Ellipsis literally within sight. On the skyline of modern Smíchov, the DAM architekti studio left a mark of quality, unusualness, but also respect for the character of the place thanks to this building.
